Rachael West

Rachael always knew she wanted to be a veterinary nurse from a young age, ever since she chose to have animal toys and a pretend hospital instead of dolls! 

Rachael has been part of the Amery family for 6 years and qualified in 2024. Her fields of interest are anaesthesia and in-patient care. Rachael loves working with animals every day and strive to provide compassionate and high-quality support to both pets and their owners throughout the good and tough times. 
 
At home Rachael has a crazy cockapoo named Hector, and a border terrier named Casper. Outside of work she enjoys spinning, long countryside walks with the dogs and her husband and one of her favourite things to do is visit Wales and the Lake District to climb mountains in warmer months.
